March 2nd to March 4th meant annual planning days for SSA: UHSNET. Some of the issues discussed were the annual workplan, long-term strategies in terms of fundraising and staffing for the organization, and various other challenges. Several project officers also presented status updates on ongoing and completed projects. An evaluation was also presented by an external consultant outlining the main challenges for the organization and concrete steps to be taken to address those issues. The final day of discussions was attended by several board members including chairman Mr. Emmanuel Byaruhanga.
