SSA:UHSNET and partners West Acholi Cooperative Union and National Association of Women organizations in Uganda conducted a land awareness campaign in Northern UGANDA in the districts of Gulu and Amuru where primary cooperative members were sensitized on the existing legal framework related to Land and where they derive their rights. The dialogues were so insightful and opened the eyes of many vulnerable women who were cohabiting that they are most likely to face injustices.

some violations documented in the community will be compiled in a report to be presented to duty bearers at national level and others were referred to the Legal Aid project of Uganda Law Society to follow up through mediation of the warrying parties.
