SSA: UHSNET joined the events to commemorate World Environment Day 2020 with the theme ” Eco-System Restoration”. The day was celebrated by conducting a clean up exercise of the Ggaba water front along Lake Victoria where 130 KGs of plastic was retrieved from the Lake. The network encouraged the local leadership to continuously carryout similar initiatives to restore the environment.
