Monitoring Visit

The project during the quarter conducted a monitoring visit for the secretariat staff and representatives from UN Women; the aim of this monitoring was to gain the insights of from the group in terms of impacts or achievements of the different interventions carried out by SSA: UHSNET. 10 representatives from 3 groups in Jinja including Slum women initiative for development (SWID), Mirembe development group and Mpumudde low income women’s group were met differently in their meeting points.

The information gathered during the monitoring visit will be used to strengthen aspects of the program that are working well, change areas that need improvement and provide needed resources to beneficiaries. This will also help in budgetary decisions where the network will allocate resources to more relevant areas of need for the group.
