WOMEN SPACES PROJECT

SSA is implementing a Women Spaces Project supported by the Government of Canada through Rooftops Canada. The project is a 5 year project being implemented in 4 countries in Sub Saharan Africa with the focus of implementing Women’s Equal Rights to Land Housing and Livelihoods. In Uganda, the project is being implemented in 4 districts of Kamuli, Kayunga, Wakiso (Entebbe) and Mityana. To share experiences and learn from each other, the project has a component where all partner organizations meet once a year to share experiences and build synergies with each other. This year the project steering committee met in Johannesburg, South Africa where partners shared different interventions carried out in their individual countries.
